I really like this project because i think that it turned out very well. This is the project in which I grew the most. This is because I learned how to improve drawing people and keeping pictures proportionate
I think I used this charcoal technique very well. I first put down the basic outline. I them added details slowly. That was the easy part. Next was the harder technique, shading. It took quite a long time to shade this piece using paper towels and the kneaded eraser.
This photo was the most successful project i had. The process i took to take it was the following:
1. I had to look for a good location
2. I chose the woods
3. I chose the perfect angle and took the picture
4. I edited the photo
If I can redo any project from this semester it would definately be the art journaling assignment. I would change the whole idea and start fresh because the whole project was a train wrek. Some specific changes I would make is the way I used the gel medium to glue on the tissue paper.
This piece of photography reflects me as an artist very well. This represents me because I love the beautiful south and the outdoors! This picture was taken at a bbq in downtown hillsborough.
